In Fairbanks, Petro Star Heating Fuel operates as Sourdough Fuel, serving the needs of customers throughout Interior and Northern Alaska. We're proud to deliver heating fuel to over 11,000 customers on an automatic delivery system and to many others on an "on call" basis. We maintain a fleet of 23 heating fuel trucks for fuel deliveries to homes and businesses, and five large tanker trucks which bring fuel from our refinery to our bulk plant at Sourdough's headquarters.
For customer convenience, we also offer 24-hour furnace maintenance service, a budget payment plan, and "prompt payment," senior citizen and military discounts. Petro Star is also proud to employ 190 Alaskans, most of whom are long-time Alaskans and active community members.
